Dalcross International Airport is 8 miles east of Inverness. There are regular flights to/from Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and many other UK cities.

Inverness can also be reached by train via Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen. Sleeper trains from London operate on certain days. Visit ScotRail for timetables and prices.

Car hire is available at Inverness airport and train station if booked in advance.

If you are driving up, Inverness is 157 miles from Edinburgh and 174 miles from Glasgow.
